Week 8 Journal writing. These are some entries for our 100word challenge. Students had to include the words "Look up can you see...?

Walking down the street something caught my eye. Strange, what was it? I ran to my best friend’s house right across the street. Frantically I knocked on the door. Kate answered “Hello” she whispered “Look up!’ I yelled “Look up, can you see?” “WOW” “What is it?” “I don’t know” I calmly told her “Let’s check it out.” Looking at her smile told me everything.

ghtmare,
Racing down the old wooden stairs my heart was pounding like I had just woken up from a horrible nightmare, Moments before I had just seen some amazing brightly multi-coloured lights in the sky. Everyone was asleep after Aunt Mary’s 50th birthday. I sped past the hallway keeping my eyes focused on the backyard door. I heaved it open and raced out. To my amazement my brother Tommy was there “Look up, can you see the lights? Trembled tommy, the endless dark sky was filled with bright stars glistening like a rainbow. I was astounded by the glittering sky.

Come on in”. “It’s amazing”.  “Look up, can’t you see? “ No I can’t see” Tom. “What is it”? It’s a very plain wall”. ”But can’t you see”. ”Were in a cave”. Tim was scared. Tom was excited. Tim exited the cave and did not tell Tom. Tom called out “TIM WHERE ARE YOU? He was alone. He looked around and saw a door that was camouflaged. It was very quiet until his nail touched the handle. He turned it and turned it. It never opened. Tim was trapped in a door. He had TNT to blow the door up. He pressed it then CABOOM!

Look up, can you see? It’s going to rain! I sprinted up the hill with my brother, to the little cottage, trying to find some shelter as the sky got darker and darker. I knew we should have gotten an umbrella screaming over the sound of the thunder and pouring rain. The old wooden door opened and in front of us there appeared and old woman with brittle grey hair.
