Poverty Should Not Exist in the 21st Century

Many people suffer from poverty all around the world. Poverty is when you cannot afford any food, a home and other necessities. Poverty needs to be stopped now for all these reasons. Research shows that 80% of our world is poverty, twenty-two thousand children die each day due to poverty and Organisations that raise money state wise is still not enough.

UNICEF has shown that approximately twenty-two thousand children die a day due to the issue of poverty which is a shocking amount. An unbelievable fact is 80% of our world is in poverty with the remaining 20% having wealth. Research shows that one-third of the poor people suffering from poverty live in India. That’s why I strongly believe that poverty should not exist in the 21st century before it takes over our whole world.

There are many organisations that raise and donate money for these poor people, such as world vision and many more. Bill gates and Oprah also have donated money to these poor people but it is still not enough. By working together as a nation or even as individuals, we can help end poverty. We should give foreign aid to those countries stricken by poverty and donate crops, other hardware technology and other things that could help. If we all put some effort into stopping poverty we could help those people who don’t even have a dollar to live each day.

In conclusion think it is really unfair that millions of people are fighting for their lives. Poor people should be living a normal life, which is why I strongly believe that poverty should not exist in the 21st century because more than 80% of our world is poverty and thousands of children die each day due to the issue. Please think about world poverty and donate to this cause now if you want to make a difference.

Poverty Should not Exist in the 21st Century

According to UNICEF poverty is one of the biggest problems in the world. So what is poverty? Poverty is when people don’t have money to buy their food. As a consequence they are below the poverty line. Statistics show that 22000 people die every year because of poverty, 80% of humanity is suffering from poverty and the people who suffer poverty mostly are children.

According to UNICEF 22000 people die of poverty every year and half of them are children. Most of them die from hunger. This is really sickening.

Even though lots of charities like the Smith Family help prevent poverty, 80% of humanity is suffering from poverty. Approximately one third of the people suffering from poverty live in India.

Another reason is that over 9 million people under the age of 5 die every year because of poverty. This is horrifying. Don’t you agree?

In conclusion poverty is a terrifying thing that is killing people every second. Would you like this to happen to you.

Poverty Should Not Exist

Poverty has existed for a very long time and must be stopped immediately. There are many reasons why poverty must not exist in the 21st century. This includes the fact that, children die each day and many children do not know how to read or write. A huge number of our world's population is poverty.

More importantly, 22,000 children die each day. This is a shocking number as it is to be stopped because if people can manage to have a wealthy life so can people suffering from poverty. Why is it so unfair? If we just donate clothes and money they will be able to live a good life and those 22,000 may have the opportunity to school as well as food.

Moreover, many children suffering from poverty do not know how to read or write. It will be sad to live a lonely and a uneducated life. This will not only stop poverty but increase the level of people who are in poverty to go around the world and help children there, so soon no one will be uneducated.

Furthermore, 80% of our world is in poverty. How can we let this happen generation after generation when we are all not helping? We should all have a rule that after each month each family should pay a certain amount. That 80% could be pushed to at least less than 80%.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that poverty should not exist. This includes the fact that, 22,000 children die each day, many children do not know how to read or write and 80% of our world is in poverty.

Dear Editor,
I believe that there are too many programs that require teenagers to audition to become a pop star. As a result teenagers are being laughed at on live television getting humiliated and all sorts of other cruel things.
The judges are pop stars who do not care if people are talented or not. They say that they are not talented even if they are, just to get ratings. I strongly believe that this is wrong. What if you were one of those people who were  being laughed at on live television, would you want that to happen to you?
The only reason that teenagers audition to become pop star is because they think that they are talented. Some teenagers don’t sing or any other things they enjoy because of the auditions that they have to do. The judges say that they are not good.
These are just some of my reasons that there are too many programs that require teenagers to audition to become a pop star.
