Lost in the Snow

Ethan and Ben came over to Tom`s house and enjoyed themselves. Ethan, Ben and Tom were good friends. They knew each other since kindergarten and since then they have been in the same class. They were enjoying themselves but Tom lost his favourite watch that his grandfather gave him before he passed away. Tom always thought about his grandfather when he slept and most of the time Tom dreamt of him.

The next day when Tom arrived at school, he was shocked because he lost his watch. Tom asked his friends, mum, dad and his sister if they have seen it, but they had not. Tom felt down at school.

Mr Blade asked, “Why are you feeling down?”
Tom answered, “Misplaced my watch and that was my favourite watch that my grandfather gave me.”
“I think accidently dropped it in the snow” added Tom.
“Cheer up,” chirped Ethan and Ben.

The freezing snow will evaporate soon and then we will find your watch. Five weeks later the snow evaporated Tom was excited about finding his watch. He raced to the phone and rang to Ethan`s and Ben`s phone. They raced as fast as lightning to Tom`s house. They raced outside and found Tom`s favourite watch. Tom was relieved that his watch was not damaged.

Lost In the Snow
“Where have you hidden my laptop”? Alvin yells out.                                                                                    “I haven’t hidden it“? Replied Michael walking out of the conversation into the living room. “Boys stop shouting “mum cried out from the kitchen.                                                                          While Alvin stomped into his room slamming the door shut behind him. The next day the two boys had another argument which lasted for thirty minutes.
“Stop lying, I know you’ve taken it and hidden it somewhere “!! Alvin exclaimed in a furious tone. Michael rushed out the door towards the white frosty snow, forcing mum to leave the scarf she was knitting and sprint after him. HE slowly walked into his room, leaned on his knees in front of the small wooden bed and searched under his bed for a book to revise for an exam the next week.
Alvin searched through some old childhood photos and found his laptop. He suddenly realized that he left it there a week ago. As quick as lightning he dashed out into the snow and foraged in the freezing snow searching here and there for his brother.
It had now been an hour and he still could not find his brother. After searching frantically, he headed back to his village and found hes mother waiting on the bare door step, with her hands covering her face with tears slipping down her chin. The way she had wept so mournfully told him that she had not found him either.
Michael was lost in the snow. It had now been years after Michael had run away and they could still not find him.                                                                                                                                                         “Where is he“? Alvin asked himself every time they had not succeeded in finding him.
