On Wednesday Mr Baton came to our class and demonstrated how to play the didgeridoo. His didgeridoo had the same symbols and colours as the painting we did about Uluru. Thanks Mr Baton .

This is the last week of term 2. This week children need to finish off or catch up with unfinished work.
Monday -NO Library
Tuesday- Parent/Teacher interviews in the Computer Room next to 2 J
Wednesday: Dance Performance at 2:30 Wear black and white
Thursday: Scripture NO Computers
Friday: Sport and Assembly.

Monday: Homework is Excel Unit 13. Tables 2 times NO spelling this week! Library
Tuesday: Photos so wear full school uniform
Wednesday: continue homework. Dance with Miss Rachel. Don't forget to prepare your clothes to wear next week. Black and white theme clothes.
Thursday: Scripture and computers
Friday: Sport and knitting

Week 8 This week in 2J

Tuesday: Homework Spelling and 2 times tables. Excel Unit 12
Wednesday: Dancing
Thursday: Scripture and computers 
Friday: Our class will be hosting the assembly! 

Learning to knit in 2J.

Children in 2 J are learning to knit a square. When they have mastered this we will sew them together to make a blanket for the homeless people. The children are trying very hard at knitting.

Bubbles

It was a Sunday morning and Lucy and I were heading towards the bush blowing big bubbles. We were blowing bubbles because we had nothing else to do. Lucy and I were happily playing with the bubbles when Lucy saw the biggest bubble she had ever seen in her life! She raced to it. The bubble was as big as her but it was floating away quickly. We both ran after it.

We ran into the bush. On the way we got lost.

“Where are we?” asked Lucy shaking.

“I don’t know” I replied. We’re lost Lucy and I sobbed.

Suddenly I saw the bubble again. “The bubble is over there”, I shouted.

Lucy called “fantastic” and we ran to it, but we just fell inside it. As soon as we were inside we couldn’t get out. The bubble had trapped us inside!

We had to get out we just had to. Suddenly the bubble started to move again and it was moving out of the bush.

“Finally” I mumbled.

As soon as the bubble had floated out of the bush it let go of us and we walked happily home.
