Fraction shapes.

 
Our class has been learning about fractions and today we made some shapes with blocks. We learnt how to put smaller shapes into bigger shapes. This helped us figure out the fraction easier.We enjoyed this maths activity.

  27. We are having our SATS next week when are you having yours? I don't feel nervous or excited I just want to get it done with, the test that I'm worried about the most is the reading test (english) also how do you feel about your SATS?

  39. In response to the fractions post, this looks absolutely beautiful! I'm sure we did this in 5th grade or something, but yours are a heck of a lot more AWESOME! We just used tangrams. Have you used tangrams?

  43. Fractions aren't my best way of using my math skills, but I like fractions.

  44. I like whole number better then fractions. I like the way you are learning fractions. I am learning decimals and using the i pad to practice different decimal problems. I also use a programs called STUDY ISLAND which is very cool. There games on there to help me learn the decimals.
